Carl Frappaolo recently wrote in his Taking AIIM Blog, a post on Putting the E in E 2.0. He noted that in their recent research on enterprise 2.0, Market IQ, that they found few organizations have taken a strategic and holistic approach to deployment. He wrote, “In terms of "Enterprise 2.0", in most organizations today, enterprise refers only to use of Web 2.0 technologies within the firewall, not the application of these technologies across the enterprise, leveraged as a truly enterprise resource. This piecemeal approach to deployment, our research found, typically leads to fragmented pockets of functionality, whose value is not maximized or shared across the enterprise.” I could not agree more. His organization is now offering training programs to address this issue.
Our latest product directions at Connectbeam are designed to address this fragmentation. We now allow for integration of our Connectbeam social networking and social bookmarking capabilities with enterprise applications such as Google Search and Sharepoint to look across the enterprise and share the social context of information. We will soon be announcing some new initiatives to take this a step further and help aggregate the social information across the enterprise from multiple sources. I will be writing about it soon on this blog.

Wow,good!
I love what you wrote.
I think we can make friends.
